Sunshine is here!
Thank God for that!
I haven't realised until two days ago how much I miss summer. I am a solar person, I love the heat and the light. Give me 40 degrees centigrade and I am in the seventh heaven! Unfortunately, in Romania, summer doesn't last forever and, especially this year, it is said to be followed by the worst winter ever.
So, let's enjoy the last warm sunny days of October and think about the beautiful days to come - next summer, of course. Because, as for me, winter is another challenge I have to overcome, and I promise I will.
The rest is foggy: my job is no longer interesting, I hate most of my colleagues and I can't wait to never see them again! A joke? Maybe! If you could see me, I might be laughing right now...or not! But I know they are dying to get rid of me.
Let me explain you why:
1. First of all, I have decided to move to another country, where they know the meaning of common sense and civilisation.
2. Secondly, I have an English teaching job at a "prestigious" college in Focsani.
3. Thirdly, they have made a list with people to replace me once I am gone. I hear the higher offer will be declared the winner. Like an auction, only for the wrong reason.

Because that is how things work in Romania: you have the money, you have it ( and by it I mean a job that you want, but you are not necessarily qualified to do ). So, I can only wish the candidates "Good luck" and "Good money", 'cause they will need it.
I will keep you informed about the winner. Maybe it will turn out to be someone good to my students, 'cause I know they will miss me the most. A big hug for them and many, many good marks until I am gone!

Have a great day and don't come to Romania unless absolutely necessary!
