Big day for the unions today: marching on the capital city to protest against the "dictatorial" regime of Basescu-the-Sailorman.
Everyone is present there, except half of the announced participants. 60 000 were supposed to come, only half made it.
Lack of interest? Lack of common sense?
I am a union member. Why am I not there? Because I don't really give a d...mn. There is no hope for "moral reform". There is no hope for any kind of reform!
I bet that, no matter how bad the situation will be in the future months or years, Romania will never become Greece. We are couch-potatoes and nothing will make us get up and do something!
P.S. A message for the politicians that are present, trying to gain some political capital: Beat it!

About the protests: come on, they can't do nothing.

Thank you. I hope you will continue to read it, whoever you are.
About the protests, they can do a lot. Just not in this lifetime. Nor in this country.
